We have had hearings on a large percentage of our cases. The Tarrant Appraisal Review Board has scheduled the remainder of our hearings into mid-October, and with carry-overs they may reschedule us into November.
If we have already had your hearing, we will post the new settled value on your My Account page in the coming days.
This value is the unofficial amount settled at your protest hearing. We must receive an official final value notice from the Tarrant Appraisal Review Board before we can confirm the new value. We will send you a final value notice via regular mail once we receive it.
You can also look up your property on TAD.org. If the Market Value states “Proposed”, your new value has not yet been settled; if it states “Certified”, this is your settled amount.
We realize that your escrow may have changed, and you are anxious to know the outcome of your hearing. Please know that Property Tax Lock is as eager as you are to finish your protest. It is taking an unprecedented amount of time for the Tarrant Appraisal Review Board to send us these notices for 2017.
Remember: if you receive a tax bill in October, you have until January 31st to pay without penalty and interest. We feel confident that the hearing process will be completed prior to December on all protests.
